Monitor Calibration

What tools to use to Calibrate your Monitor

We get asked often about colour management and generally one of the first points we come back to is to find out if your monitor has been calibrated and if so how it was calibrated, then the next question is 'what type of monitor do you have?' as there are so many varying quality of monitors out there, some are great others are cheap and nasty!

There are a number of different calibrators out there that can be used. We would recommend the X-Rite Eye-One Display or the Spyder.

You can purchase these from wherever you like. If you order a X-Rite Eye-One Display OR Spyder via Kayell Australia (NOT Kayell QLD) you can get a 10% discount by using Coupon Code: spyderinkfx

Also, if you're unsure about your monitor for editing and colour accuracy definitely speak with the guys at Kayell Australia (Not Kayell QLD) who are experts in the field and are able to recommend quality monitors to suit your needs.

Here's a cool video about the Spyder! Enjoy ;)
