How do I install my rudder on a Boreal Design Kasko or Ookpik?

If your rudder is not already installed on your Boreal Design Kasko or Ookpik kayak, here are the steps to to do this:

  1. Take out the long bolt and nut from the rudder wing assembly

  2. Assemble the rudder kit to fit the rudder support by installing the long bolt


  3. Connect the spectra line (loop end) to the rudder wing bplt and nut.  


  4. Run the larger black rope (uphaul / downhaul) line through the rudder blade hole and make a knot.
