Important: when undoing the nuts before installing pedals, the left side is a REVERSE thread so need to turn to the RIGHT or CLOCKWISE to loosen it off. Then after you attach the pedal to the bolt, turn the nut to the LEFT or COUNTERCLOCKWISE to tighten.
