Replace a speaker

Replace a speaker

This method requires 2 people:

1. Take a picture of the speaker before any handling, if necessary.
2. Disconnect all speaker cables.
3. Support the top to make sure it does not fall.
4. Remove the 8 screws on the top of the speaker bracket.
5. Remove the speaker from its bracket.
6. Place the new speaker into the bracket.
7. Connect the cables as they were originally connected.
8. Make sure the speaker is set to 0 in all settings.
 
 
This method requires 1 person:
 
1. Take a picture of the speaker before any handling, if necessary.
2. Disconnect all speaker cables.
3. Remove the three (3) screws from each side of the speaker (6 in total) that hold the speaker bracket to the structure.
4. Place one hand under the speaker and gently remove the speaker from the bracket.
5. Place the speaker on the floor.
6. Remove the 8 support screws, then remove the speaker.
7. Place the new speaker into the bracket then screw the eight (8) screws into the bracket.
8. Lift the speaker from below and gently place the bracket back into the structure.
9. Screw in the three (3) screws on each side of the bracket (6 in total).
10.  Connect the cables as they were originally connected.
11.  Make sure the speaker is set to 0 in all settings.
