How do I add an Account?

Under Chart of Accounts, click on 'Add', enter the account name and the account will then appear at the top of the account list as follows;




Fill in the blank boxes including Account Category, Division (if multiple Divisions exist), GST and Account Type (if needed). The options that appear will depend on the account characteristics. 

You can import the accounts from Xero or Excel/CSV. After import, you will have the option to review the accounts before saving. 

If there are multiple accounts that have been added with the same characteristics (eg the same account category), you can tick the box that appears next to the item to Copy Down the option for the selected accounts.

How do I edit an Account?

Under Chart of Accounts, you can edit the account name by simply clicking on the name and making the change. This change will then update the account name in Projections. 

How do I delete an Account

Under Chart of Accounts, click on the red X symbol that appears next to the account (as shown in the screenshot above). 

You will not be able to delete an Account if prior month actual values exist. You will need to reallocate these values to another account before deleting the account.
