How Do I Apply Tile By Percentages or Create a Random Tile Pattern in MeasureSquare 8?

In this article you will learn how to make a random tile pattern by percentage in MeasureSquare 8.

pertains to version .5393 or newer. 

Step 1: Create your tile products as you usually would.

Make sure that they are the same size as the other that will be included in the random tile pattern. If they are not the same they will not appear as options for you to select. 

Step 2: On one of the tiles right click and select 'Assign Random Tile With' 



Step 3: You will receive a 'Set Random Tiles' pop up, here you have the option to 'Add' tiles.



Step 4: When you select 'Add' a line will appear where you can select the correct tile as well as change the percentage. 



Step 5: Once you have all of your tiles included in the pop up menu, select 'Ok' 



Step 6: After you select 'Ok' you have the ability to place the combination of tiles in your rooms.

Important! When using Random Tiles to create a Random Tile Pattern by %, the software cannot apply the calculations settings of Half Reuse, Cut & Fit, and No Reuse. If any of these 3 are selected, the software will still calculate as "Waste Add-on"
