How to assign, estimate and print by Phase in MeasureSquare 8

In this article, we will show you how to create and assign phases to certain rooms, estimate the project by phase, and then breakdown your data into phases for worksheets and reports.

Setting Up Phasing 

Step 1: Have your take off drawn out.

Step 2: Right click on the area that you would like to have in your phase. 



Step 3: Select 'Create' 


Step 4: This pop up will appear. Here you can name the phase accordingly and select a color for the tab. You can select 'OK' to proceed. 



After you have completed this depending on how many phases you have added, you can now toggled between them at the top of your page. 





Estimating By Phase

Step 1: Located by the gear icon in the 'Estimate' section > Locate 'Estimate By' > Locate and select 'Phase' 



If you have products applied to the takeoff already and they are rolled goods, you will receive the following pop up. To estimate by phase you must select 'Yes' to proceed.  



Step 2: Locate the 'Worksheet' tab in MeasureSquare > Select 'New' 


Step 3: Follow the 'New Worksheet' process and select the correct phases that you would like to have in the worksheet. 


Step 4: Once you select the correct phases that will be on the worksheet
