How to set random tiles by percentage with a herringbone pattern in MeasureSquare 8

In this article, we're going to show you how to set the random tiles with the the herringbone pattern.

This article applies to Windows MeasureSquare 8.

Step 1: Create the herring bone pattern

Note: Make sure when connecting the tiles, you move them by "grabbing" the red handles, and then snapping them to each other. 
If you do not see a pattern appear on the right side, the tiles are not connected properly or it is not a repeatable pattern yet.



Step 2: Right click on the herringbone pattern under Patterns > View/Modify Details > Click Edit to add the other 2 tiles > Click on add > Select the tile(s) and the percentage for each tile > OK > Save




Important! When using Random Tiles to create a Random Tile Pattern by %, the software cannot apply the calculations settings of Half Reuse, Cut & Fit, and No Reuse. If any of these 3 are selected, the software will still calculate as "Waste Add-on"
