Student Volunteers

Student Volunteers

Many organizations like to offer volunteer opportunities to their students. Any volunteer form can be set up to allow student volunteers.
  1. Go to Volunteers and select the Volunteer form (or create a new one.)
  2. Select "edit this form."
  3. Go to the Presentation tab and select "Who can Volunteer?"

The choices include:
  1. Parents Only
  2. Students Only
  3. Both Parents AND Students



For Admins:

  1. Once Student Volunteers are added to a form they will be presented for ALL Opportunities on the form.
  2. Form Conditions can be applied to the form to restrict which parents have access to it, however, restricting the grade level on the form will NOT restrict which students can sign up. If student volunteers are allowed, all active students will be able to sign up.
  3. Student Volunteers will be listed among all of the volunteers signed up for a form.



  1. Admins can edit a volunteer opportunity for a student by going to the parent's Contact Record / Volunteering tab and clicking the "add/edit" button at the top.



For Parents:

  1. Student Volunteers will be listed in the "Student" column on the volunteer form.
  2. Student Volunteers are limited to the Active Students listed on a Parent Contact Record.
  3. Parents can edit volunteer selections for their students by logging in and selecting the volunteer form from their Open Forms.



  1. Student Volunteer Selections will present on the Confirmation Email sent out when the volunteer form is submitted.
