The Mission Suite has been designed for you, the user. One of the things users told us was the need to capture communications by individual, as it happens and to have all communications displayed by the individual. These touchpoints are how relationships are built and evangelization is fostered. We created a simple icon-based feature that lives within a person's profile to compile and log all forms of communication: email, text, call, or an in-person meeting. Most importantly, any group message of which a particular person is a part of will be displayed in that person's Communication history! No referring back to each session, group, or event the person attended. All communications, whether sent individually or as a group, will reside in the person's Communication tab.
Communications center
1. Login to the Mission Suite and select the People Profile icon.
2. From the People Overview page, select the desired individual.
3. To send communication directly to an individual, click the appropriate icon. Sending an email is detailed below.
The To and From field will be automatically filled. Simply add a Subject (3a), Content message (3b), and send (3c.). This communication will now exist in each recipient's Communication tab. The text communication feature works in the same way. If you are sending an email to a group and would prefer the recipient did not know who else will receive this email, you can check the Hide all email addresses from the recipients box.
4. To log a call or meeting, click the appropriate icon. An example below illustrates how to log the details for a meeting. The required fields are the Meeting Title, Meeting Time, and Meeting Date. The other fields are optional. Once you have completed the Meeting detail, click Save. The Meeting will now display in the person's Communication tab. The call feature works the same way.
Using communications to build relationships
1. Navigate to the Communication tab on any profile to view their communications history. Each header can be sorted and filtered to locate the information you need more quickly.
2. Click the page icon next to any communication entry to view its details. These details are helpful not only from a logistics standpoint ("Did I remind Dustin to read Mark 1 and 2?"). They are important events themselves than can help define and direct a faith journey.
