Marking a participant as withdrawn from a session and view options

The Mission Suite lets you decide how you want to organize and view your data. With Encounter, once you mark a participant as withdrawn from a session, you have the option to keep withdrawn participants as part of your visible participant list, or you can hide them. You may want to keep the participant on the list to include them in any communications about the session or possibly inform them of an upcoming session.
If, however, the participant has withdrawn from a session and you would like to view only those active members, you can do that, as well.
To withdraw a participant from a session, and adjust your view of withdrawn participants, follow the steps below.

1. Login to the Mission Suite and select the Encounter Sessions/Retreats icon.

2. From the Overview screen, click on the desired session.

3a. Click on Participants in the left navigation bar.
3b. Click on the last name of the participant you wish to mark as withdrawn.

4a. From the Participant's profile, you will be directed to the Journey Points tab.
4b. Select the checkbox for Withdrew/Did Not Complete
4c. Click Save. This participant is now withdrawn.

5. Clicking Save returns you to the participant list for this session. Note how the participant is no longer listed, and there is a not-visible eye icon next to the heading. This indicates there is at least one withdrawn participant from this session not included in the current view.

6a. To view all participants, including those who are withdrawn, click the not-visible eye icon. The icon will change to the visible eye icon.
6b. The withdrawn participant will now be part of the participant list, with a W next to their last name, indicating their withdrawn status. Clicking the visible eye icon again will toggle the view back to displaying only active participants.
