Deleting an Absence

Sometimes, an Employee may need to delete a booked Absence in TMS 8.

To delete a booked Absence, navigate to the Absence profile from the TMS 8 Header pane or the Dashboard. Locate the Absence you wish to delete, and select it to bring it up in the Details panel. Depending on your preferences, your Absence profile may appear different to the screenshot below:

Once you have selected the desired Absence, click the Delete button in the Details panel on the box that displays the Absence. A confirmation box will appear:

Click on the Delete button to delete the Absence. An Absence deletion request will then be sent to your supervisor, and a confirmation message will appear at the top of the Absence profile:

This process can also be done from the Employee planner by following a similar process.
