Adobe Acrobat Pro - Password Protect PDF

Password protect your PDF via Adobe Acrobat Pro

1. Open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Pro
2. Go to Tools > Protect < Encrypt > Encrypt with Password.
3. Select "Required a password to open the document" and insert the password
4. Select the acrobat version compatibility mode and click OK
5. Re-key in the password to confirm the password
6. Save and relaunch to ensure the PDF is password protected


Note: Always duplicate your file just in case you forget the password.
