How to boost the number of Feedback submissions

One of the best things about your app is getting valuable feedback from your players, instantly. Right after they finish their game, they will receive a push notification asking for feedback. They can rate the official 1-5 stars, their opponent's sportsmanship 1-5 stars, and there's a comment box for additional feedback.

That's great, but many people will ignore that notification and not take the time to submit feedback. How do you change that?

One great idea is to have weekly or monthly contests. Every feedback submission is an entry into the "raffle". Promote the contest, and you should see a boost in your feedback submissions. It's easy to manage the contest too, because you can export the feedback submissions to an Excel or CSV file. Then, filter for the date range of your contest, choose a winner, and you're done!
