About
This article covers modifying your library's content in the BCMobile Content Management System (CMS) and is intended for MSC libraries that purchased an app template, specifically the staff who will be responsible for administering their library’s template.
What is Content?
Content includes all the media, links and documents you include in the app, either as a tab or scheduled to your channel (a.k.a. Library Information) page.

On the Content page you will see a folder that includes all your saved content. As the overall app manager, the MSC administrators can see the content added by all creators. To keep things tidy, we encourage you to use your library name at the front of each of your added items so they sort together. For example, you might call a link to your Novelist page MTSC: Missoula Public Library – Novelist.
Adding Content
1. Select CONTENT from the main menu.
2. Click Add new Content.
3. Choose the content type you would like to add, e.g. Live Web Page. The Add Content page is nearly identical for each content type. Images, video, and PowerPoint allow you to upload a file. Plain text includes an option for entering basic text.

Files may take a few minutes to encode depending on the file size. You can check the status by going to Tools on the main menu and selecting Encoder Summary.
4. Enter a name for the content using the naming conventions mentioned above. For example, MTSC: Missoula Public Library – While We Are Closed.
5. Enter the Web URL, if applicable.
6. Give the site a simplified, Published Title like, While We Are Closed.
7. Under Advanced Settings, you can choose a thumbnail image to use with your scheduled content. The optimum size is 200 x 200 pixels. Skip this if you plan to use the content on a tab.
8. Leave the other fields unchanged.
9. Click Create.
10. On the next page, you'll have the opportunity to schedule your new content to display on a channel (your Library Information page) or to cancel and save your content to use for a tab.
