Enterprise - Password/PIN Reset

About

This article covers how library cardholders can change or reset their password/PIN from Enterprise, the Montana Shared Catalog's current online public access catalog (OPAC).

Forgot Password/PIN Reset

If the user does not know their password/PIN, click Log In from the top navigation menu. On the Log In pop-up, select Forgot my Password/PIN.

Clicking Forgot my Password/PIN will trigger a second pop-up asking for the patron's library card number. Once the card number is submitted, the patron will be emailed a reset link to the email address entered in their account. The reset link will be valid for one hour.
If the patron does not have an email address entered in the system or the user does not remember his or her card number, a library staff person will need to reset the password (PIN) using Modify User in WorkFlows.

My Account Password/PIN Change

Borrowers that know their current password/PIN can log in and change it from My Account. Click My Account on the top navigation menu. Enter the card number and password/PIN to log in.

On the Personal Information tab, expand the Change Password/PIN accordion. The user must type in their current password/PIN followed by their desired new password/PIN. Confirm the new password/PIN and click Update.

The Change Password/PIN tool is case sensitive. If the current password/PIN is rejected, please confirm that you are using the correct letter case.
