This article covers formatting reports in WorkFlows and Microsoft Word.
In WorkFlows
If you have any Reports wizards open, close them before changing settings.
From the Reports module, click the Session Settings wizard.
Under the Format Page section, adjust settings to:
- Page length: 63
- Page width: 83
- Top margin: 2
- Bottom margin: 2.
Click OK at the bottom of the screen.
Next time you close WorkFlows, you'll be prompted to save properties changes. Click Yes.
Open the Finished Reports wizard, then choose a report and select View at the bottom of the screen.
In the pop-up, uncheck the box next to View log.
Click OK.
Follow the next set of instructions to format the report display in Word.
In Word
When the report you chose to view opens, hit Control (Ctrl) + A to select all.
Change the font to Courier New, size 10. The default size of 10.5 won't work.
At the top of the page, select the Page Layout tab.
Click on Margins and select Narrow from the drop-down menu.
These settings will make line and page breaks work correctly in WorkFlows reports opened in Word.
