ISTAP/ISTAD - Can't connect to BMW F series

Suggested fix for BMW F series using the certified ENET cable

Make sure your laptop battery is above %70.

-Make sure you BMW battery is fully charged, hooked up to a float charger or the engine is running.

Check your NIC settings and VCI settings, here is how:

-Try to set it as the following:




-VCI setting should like this:

Click on the ‘wrench’ icon at the top task bar of Rheingold ISTA/D and set the VCI settings as following:

 

The third option at the left: Dealer organization ICOM /ENET local area network.
