Troubleshooting Steps for Omadi Towing 4.x

Refresh & Force Sync

In the event a user is experiencing any operating difficulties while using the app, here are a few steps to fix them.
  1. The first thing to do in any case of operating difficulties is to refresh the app. To refresh the app, from the app dashboard (house icon at top), tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner, and select Refresh.
  2. If issues persist after refreshing the app, press the Refresh button for three seconds, then click on the option to force sync the app. 
If you are still experiencing problems, make sure that both the app and your operating system are up to date. To make sure the app is up to date, go to App Store/Google Play Store > Omadi Towing > Update.

Reset All Data

If using force sync fails to resolve the problem, please follow the steps below. WARNING: These steps wipe out all data on the mobile device, so any data that is not saved to the server (i.e. drafts) will be lost. If a ticket has not been saved or is not appearing on the web, that data will be lost by following these steps. You may want to save any pictures from in progress jobs into your devices camera roll, so you don’t lose them.
  1. On Android devices, please clear the app data. Go to the Settings app on the device, find the Omadi Towing app and tap it, go to Storage, then tap "Clear Storage" (or something similar, it depends on the make of the device).
  2. On both iPhone and Android devices, perform a "Reset All Data" from within the Omadi app.
    1. Go to the app dashboard (house icon at top).
    2. Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner.
    3. Select Reset All Data.
    4. When asked if you really want to reset all data, select Delete It.
It will take a few minutes for the app to pull down all the data from the server. Once the app is done updating, please try again.

Uninstall & Reinstall

If the previous steps do not resolve the problem, then please uninstall and reinstall the Omadi Towing app and try again.
