Photos in Invoice (Public Jobs Portal)



To set up invoice photo links:
  1. Navigate to the Setup page.
  2. Click on "Document & Email Templates".
  3. Click the blue "New Template" button.  (Existing templates can also be edited to include photo links.)
  4. Fill out all the required information at the top and in the template.
  5. Scroll down, and you'll see the "Public Jobs Portal Configuration" region.
  6. Select the fields that you want to display to the invoice recipient.
  7. If you want to name the link, type it into the "Link Name" field.
  8. If you want the link name to display, check the "Display Link Name" checkbox.
  9. If you want the link URL to be displayed, check the "Display Link URL" checkbox.
  10. Click "Insert into Template".
  11. Save
You can also add this to alerts. Follow the directions above then copy that link and paste it into an alert. You can't access the public job portal in the alerts to set one up so you have to take it from a document.

In a tow ticket, when you open the template you've created, you'll see the link you created.  Click it to view the photos.  They will be time-stamped (with the date/time of when they were uploaded to our server).

The photos will be public and available to anyone with the link.
