My Microsoft Word files that I'm importing aren't staying formatted the way I want. What's happening?

This is an issue between Word and iOS. It is up to iOS to render these files and it doesn't always read and view Microsoft Word files correctly. In other words, OnSong can't guarantee how it will look since we can only leave iOS to render the file.
