OperaDDS - Importing Custom Groups for Mass Email/Text

OperaDDS offers the ability to import CSV files that Eaglesoft can export, providing custom groups of customer contact information for specific campaign purposes.
Below is a suggestion of how to use this feature
- In Eaglesoft, open the report titled Patients on Short Notice Report | Click Preview Report if no other filters are needed
- In the Report Preview window, Right-Click on the report | Click Save Data As...
- Name the file appropriately and choose Comma Delimited Files (*.csv) | Save this file to your desktop
- Inside of OperaDDS, navigate to Recall | Click on the Speech Bubble icon | Click on Send Mass Email or SMS
- Click on SMS | Click Send To: Dropdown | Click CSV
- Click Choose Files | Select the file from your Desktop, or your save location in step 3
- Write your message that you would like to send to your patients
- Click Send
- In Eaglesoft, open the report titled Today's Appointments | Click Preview Report if no other filters are needed
- In the Report Preview window, Right-Click on the report | Click Save Data As...
- Name the file appropriately and choose Comma Delimited Files (*.csv) | Save this file to your desktop
- Edit the spreadsheet, deleting all columns except Cell Phone
- Inside of OperaDDS, navigate to Recall | Click on the Speech Bubble icon | Click on Send Mass Email or SMS
- Click on SMS | Click Send To: Dropdown | Click CSV
- Click Choose Files | Select the file from your Desktop, or your save location in step 3
- Write your message that you would like to send to your patients
- Click Send
NOTE - if sending a mass email, the only data required in the .CSV are email addresses; if sending a mass text, the only required data in the .CSV is the number to text
