Connecting to our CodeMeter Server

Connecting to our CodeMeter Server
1) Create a VPN connection (this is a one-time set-up):
- In Windows 10 - search for "Add a VPN Connection", press the + sign.
- Set the VPN Provider to "Windows (built-)".
      The server address is:
      codemeteroptisolutions.asuscomm.com
      User: <provided via email>
      Password: <provided via email>
      Type: PPTP

2) Connect to the VPN.
This step alone will be necessary each time you wish to use the license server for an OPTICAM/Nucleo session.
Typically, on a Windows 10 PC, the shortcut to connect is available within the network area accessed by clicking the icon in the system tray, near the clock. This is typically where a Wifi network would be accessed also.

3) Open the CodeMeter Control Panel (this is a one-time set up):
This is running in the system tray, near the clock or in the Windows Search Bar, look for "CodeMeter Control Panel".
      Click the "WebAdmin" button.
Configure the CodeMeter server search list to point to the following IP address using "add new Server":
            192.168.50.68
Move the new entry to the top of the list using the "up arrow" that will appear - put it above the localhost IP (127.0.0.1).

To see if it has worked, click the orange button at the very bottom of the window.
It should show up in the list as 192.168.50.68 or a new hostname CAMTEK-DEVELOPMENT

You may need to “Use IP-Address”.

4) Launch OPTICAM/OPTICAM Classic to test.
