Retrieving your License File

Retrieving your License File

Retrieving your License File
Yearly, a new license is issued for users that maintain a current support contract with us for the latest release available.  If you are in need of a copy of your license for a new installation you can retrieve it from the below website as well.

To get the new password for the following 12 months, go to:

Enter your dongle/license number. If you are not sure of this number, open the CodeMeter Control Panel. This is running in the system tray, near the clock.

If you cannot locate it, simply type the same - CodeMeter Control Panel - in the "Type here to search" edit box, on the Windows taskbar.

Once the CodeMeter Control Panel is open, you should see your dongle number (if it is attached) in the lefthand pane:

Take note of the dongle number, and enter it in the box on the website, then click "Request license file".
If the license is found, it will download. Open the downloaded file with the default app (CodeMeter) and allow it to transfer the contents into the dongle. This may take several minutes.
Assuming there are no errors, your license is not updated.
