INDIAN MARKETS (NSE) STOCK AND FUTURES SYMBOLS SYNTAX FROM INTERACTIVE BROKERS FOR USE IN PAIRTRADE FINDER PRO

For those of you who are using PairTrade Finder PRO integrated with an Interactive Brokers´ Indian Share Dealing Account for real-time data and semi autotrading, please use the following symbols syntax for retrieving NSE Stocks and Futures.  FIRST, ensure you have the following settings when Creating a Group:



Then, for adding...

Stocks:

Example:  Symbol "HDFC"



Futures and Index Futures:

Example: Symbol "EURINR"

EURINR18OCTFUT:FUT@NSE|NSE

You have to specify full symbol name including expiration year/month not just 'EURINR' because Interactive Brokers never tries to find best match and just tells that this name is ambiguous.

Make sure you have real-time data fro NSE Stocks and Futures enabled in your Interactive Brokers' acconut.

Here is another Futures example, this time on an index.  The BANKNIFTY21MAYFUT:FUT@NSE|NSE   See attached screenshot:


Indices:

For example, BANKNIFTY, use:

BANKNIFTY:IND@NSE|NSE
