Where to update CDI settings in Alma


Setting

Electronic Collection Search Results

Electronic Collection Editor > CDI Tab

For collections where you want to activate or deactivate a collections’ CDI records – remember CDI records automatically activate for aggregator or selective packages with activated services/portfolios, and the CDI ignores this setting except for informational use in the search results list 
“Activate for Search in CDI”/”Deactivate for Search in CDI” 
“CDI Search activation status” = Active/Not Active 
For some collections with link in record linking, you can set it up to allow discovery and access via the CDI records - without needing to activate the collection for access
“Add CDI-only full text activation” / “Remove CDI-only full text activation” 
“CDI-only full text activation” – check to enable 
For collections with portfolios, you can tell the CDI you only want to use the CDI records for the activated portfolios 
Not available in the Search Results actions
“We subscribe to only some titles in this collection” = Yes/No 
For collections where you want to suppress CDI records unless they come from another collection, you can tell Alma to not export the collection and portfolio information to the CDI for processing

“Do not show as Full Text available in CDI even if active in Alma 
If you want to add a free-text note related to the CDI settings
