POWERSHADES CONFIG.NET GUIDE
Introduction
This manual will show you how to use the PowerShades Config.NET application. PowerShades Config.NET is a software utility that can be used to setup and configure your PowerShades RF Gateway, RF and POE Shades.

Connecting to PowerShades Devices
Step 1. Connect to your PowerShades Device(s) using the Connection Controls
Step 2. Click the
"DISCOVER" button
Step 3. This is the "Discover Devices" Window. We have a few different options on how to find your PowerShade devices
OPTION 1: The fastest way to find your PowerShades devices is to press the
"SEARCH" button
Sometimes you may have to do multiple searches
OPTION 2: You can either do a
NORMAL SCAN or an
EXTENDED SCAN.
We recommend performing an
EXTENDED SCAN
"NORMAL SCAN" scans the IP subnet (255.255.255.0) of the specified Network Adapter.
"EXTENDED SCAN" scans the entire subnet of the specified Network Adapter.
Step 4. Select the device you want to connect to by double clicking it within the table or clicking the "SELECT" button
Step 5. If connecting to an RF Gateway with already paired shades, the Channel table will auto-populate
Connecting PoE Shades and Setting Limits
Step 1. Select your PoE Shade in the Discover Window
Step 2. Jog PoE to the desired top position
Step 3. Click "TOP LIMIT"
Step 4. Jog PoE shade to desired bottom position
Step 5. Click
"BOTTOM LIMIT"
Step 6. Click
"SAVE LIMIT"
Pairing RF Shades
Step 1. Select the channel you want to pair your shade to (Channel 2 is selected in this image)
Step 2. Hold down the programming button on motor head for 2 seconds - the motor will jog and beep once
Step 3. Click the
"PAIR" button
Step 4. The motor will jog twice and beep three times and will now be ready to have the limits set
Application Controls
Movement
Jog Up: Moves the shade on the selected channel UP
Jog Stop: Stops movement of the selected channel
Jog Down: Moves the shade on the selected channel DOWN
Percent: Moves shade on selected channel to specified percent
Cycle: Cycles the shades up and down with a dwell in between
Step Up: For PoE, moves the shade UP in small increments
Step Down: For PoE, moves the shade DOWN in small increments
Direction: For PoE, changes the direction in which the motor moves
All Shades: Selects all Shades on the RF Gateway
Setup
Pair: Pairs an RF shade to the selected empty channel
Link Feedback: Enables 2-Way feedback on selected channel (shade must be in pairing mode)
Un-Link Feedback: Disables 2-Way feedback on selected channel
P2: Simulates the RF Remote Program button on the selected channel
Device Utility
Reboot: Reboots the RF Gateway
Get Status: Updates Percent and Battery of selected channel (if 2-Way feedback has been enabled)
Get Status All: Updates Percent and Battery of all channels
Webserver: Opens Web Server page for the connected RF Gateway
Limit Settings
Top Limit: Sets PoE top limit to current position
Bottom Limit: Sets PoE bottom limit to current position
Save Limit: Saves current limits
Clear Limits: Clears the limits that have been set
Network Settings
IP Address: Static, sets RF Gateway to IP address to typed IP address
Subnet: Static, sets RF Gateway subnet to typed subnet
Gateway: Static, sets device gateway to typed gateway
Defaults: Populates defaults for static mode
Save: Saves network settings and reboots RF Gateway
