Auto Assigning Work Orders for Residential Admins


Auto assigning work orders to specific people or groups of people allows you to customize who receives a work order.  This article will explain how to:

  1. Auto Assign Groups
  2. Set Up Auto Assignments for Staff Members

Auto-Assignment Groups

Step 1
Once logged in to the Admin Portal, select Operations from the left side menu and then select Staff Assignments.



Step 2
Select Add Assignment Group from the top of the screen. 

Groups can be names of specialties such as plumbers, staff members by shift, or any other grouping of staff members you would like to assign work orders to.


  

Step 3
Create the group name and select the staff you would like to add to the group. Select Submit.



Setting Auto-Assignment for Staff Members

Step 1
Once logged in to the Admin Portal, select Operations from the left side menu and then select Work Order Configuration.




Step 2
Select the drop-down arrow next to Custom Questions at the top of the screen and then select Categories in the drop-down menu. 



Edit Existing Category Staff Assignments

Step 1
Select the three dots to the far right of the existing category and select Edit Category.


Step 2
Select the new staff member you would like to assign to the category.  Select Save Changes to assign the new staff member.



Create a New Category for Staff Assignment

Step 1
Select Add Category at the top of the screen. 



Step 2
Name the new category and then select the staff member you would like to assign to the new category.  Finally, select Submit to create the new category.
