Academic Suspension

Academic Suspension

Academic suspension means a student has two consecutive semesters when he/she did not meet the requirements to be in good standing (completed 67% of credits attempted and/or maintained a 2.0 grade point average). A student may also go into academic suspension if a student cumulatively falls below standard (even if the semesters are not consecutive). Failure to meet the satisfactory academic progress standard happens when a student does not complete at least 67% of credits attempted (within one semester and/or cumulatively) or has a grade point average below 2.0 for at least two semesters.
