macOS: Remove a Wi-Fi Network




Article Goal – Illustrate the procedure for Removing a Wi-Fi Network
Article Audience – Public


Open Network Preferences

1. Select(click) the Wi-Fi icon in the taskbar at the top of the screen
2. Select(click) Network Preferences


Unlock System Preferences

1. Select(click) the Lock icon in the lower left-hand of the Network window


Authenticate

1. Enter your UsernamePassword
2. Select(click) the Unlock button


Advanced Network Settings

1. System Preferences successfully unlocked
2. Select(click) the Advanced button


Remove the Wi-Fi Network

1. Select(click) the Wi-Fi network you want to remove
2. Select(click) the Minus button to remove network
3. Select(click) the OK button


Finalize Changes

1. Select(click) the Apply button to finalize your changes
