Allowing students to download lecture videos from Panopto

By default, students are not able to download lecture videos from Panopto. To allow students to download lecture videos from Panopto and save the videos to their devices,


Click the Panopto folder that contains the desired lecture videos.


Click the Settings gear in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.


Click Settings [1] on the left-hand menu and in the Downloads > Download enabled menu [2], choose Authenticated users with access [3].


Click the X to close the Settings window.


Instruct students to click the Download button on the desired video.
