Embedding Padlet in Canvas

This article shows how to embed Padlet your Canvas courses.

Copy the Embed Code from Padlet


On your Padlet board, click the Share button.


In the list of Sharing options, click Embed in your blog or your website.

There two embed options to choose from:
(1) Full
A fully functional padlet that fits the dimensions of your webpage or blog. Visitors can post, remake, and share from here.

(2) Preview

A preview image that shows the title, owner, and up to three images from the padlet. Clicking the image opens the padlet in a new browser window.


Click Copy from the desired option.

Paste the Embed Code in Canvas



Navigate back to Canvas and click Edit on the assignment, discussion, or page. The Editor will open.




Click the HTML button (bottom right-side corner) to open the HTML editor.


Paste the embed code copied from Padlet.


Click the HTML button to close the HTML editor. The embedded Padlet will appear in Canvas for you to review.



Click Save. Padlet is now fully embedded in Canvas.
