Uploading an audio/video assignment to Panopto (students)
Students can upload a video file (such as a .mp4 or a .wmv) or audio files (such as a .mp3 or a .wav ) to a Panopto [assignment] folder from their computer. If the video or audio file is on a mobile device, refer to Uploading video assignments using the Panopto mobile app.
Upload your video or audio file to Panopto
Click Panopto Recordings
Click the name of the folder for the assignment, eg. Persuasive Speech.
Click the name of the [assignment] folder inside of the previous folder, eg. Persuasive Speech [assign...].
Click Create and select Upload media. The Add files to window will appear.
Drag the video file to the upload area, or click in the upload area to find the file on your computer.
When the upload is complete, click the X in the upper left corner to close the upload window.
Locate and copy the Share link.
Hover over your video and click the Share button.
Click on the link and copy it. Make sure to submit the Share link to the Canvas Assignment page.
