Sentera PHX™ FAQs - What do I do if a low flying aircraft is about to enter my airspace?


It's Your Responsibility as the drone pilot to see and avoid all other aircraft.  

Manned Aircraft Always Have the Right-Of-Way!!

Typical techniques for avoiding other aircraft while flying your Sentera PHX™ are as followed (This list is in no particular order.  Each situation could require one or more of the following steps to avoid other aircraft while in flight).


1. Press the RTL (Return to Land) button on the left side of the main screen to command the aircraft to the landing pattern and land. 



  1. Once you click the RTL button the Slide to confirm box will popup at the bottom of the screen for you to confirm the command being sent to the aircraft to return to land. 

            


Note: The aircraft will climb to the minimum return altitude of 330 feet (100 meters) returning to the landing pattern.

2. Press the Pause button on the left side of the main screen to command the aircraft to enter a hold loiter in its current location and altitude.  



  1. Once you click the Pause button the Slide to confirm box will popup at the bottom of the screen for you to confirm the command being sent to the aircraft to pause the mission and begin its loiter.



2a. After pausing the mission you can change the altitude by clicking the Action button and then clicking on Change Altitude.


            




  1. Once you've selected Change Altitude you can adjust the altitude by using the slide bar on the right hand side of the screen.

  1. Once you adjusted the altitude via the slide bar the Slide to confirm box will popup at the bottom of the screen for you to confirm the command being sent to the aircraft to change its altitude. 
            


2b. While the mission has been paused you can also change the position of the pause loiter by clicking a safe place on the map.


            
  1. Once you picked a safe location via Goto here the Slide to confirm box will popup at the bottom of the screen for you to confirm the command being sent to the aircraft to move to this new location and loiter.
          


Once the airspace is clear you can resume the mission from the paused loiter by clicking the "Action" button on the left side of the screen.  This will allow the aircraft to resume the mission from where it had left off.

         

After you click the Action button click on Continue Mission.

        

After clicking on Continue Mission the Slide to confirm box will popup at the bottom of the screen for you to confirm the command being sent to the aircraft to resume mission from where the mission had left off.
