How do you deploy content in SignStix?

Once you are happy with the content you have created, the next step is to assign and deploy that content to your screens.  Please follow these instructions: 
  1. Navigate to the Assignments section in the left-hand column in Director
  2. The main section of the page shows the top-level locations in your estate (and any devices that don't have a location)
  3. Navigate to the device or location of interest and select it (you can assign from any level within your structure- this will affect all the devices under that level) 
  4. Click the + icon at the top of the page and choose the type of content you wish to assign (Sign, Sequence, Schedule, or Playlist).  As selector panel will appear
  5. In the selector panel find the content you want to assign (you can search through these to find your content easily)
  6. Select the content and click the 'Assign' button
  7. Click the 'Deploy' button at the top of the page to tell your devices to start downloading the new content 
  8. Assuming your screen and device are online, the content shown on screen should change within about 60 seconds (depending on its size)
Assign and deploy a video:
  1. As described previously, navigate to your device location within the Assignments page
  2. Select the + icon at the top of the page
  3. Choose 'Assign a Sign' and select a sign with a video box in it
  4. Click the 'Assign' button
  5. Repeat the above steps, this time choosing 'Assign a Playlist' 
  6. Select the relevant playlist and click the 'Assign' button
  7. Finally, click the 'Deploy' button to make the device download the new content
