How do I stop the big pauses between sign changes in a sequence?

A. Signs with large graphics, high resolutions and sizeable video can take some time to load. If you have multiple signs in a sequence this can impact the flow of the signage changes.

To counteract this a 'compilation' phase can take place when a sequence is first started on the media player. The player will decided whether it can compile the entire sequence by taking characteristics about the first sign and checking to see if those are consistent through each sign in the sequence. For example does each sign have video on the front plane, have an interactive layer and so on. If they are consistent, a full compilation can take place which will make changes to signs seamless.

It may be that to 'trick' this compilation to take place you need to add items to the first sign such as a video layer on the back plane; even though it will not be used.
