Discounts for deactivated products show up on discount reports

Symptoms

This article explains an issue found that when printing discount reports, discounts for deactivated products appear on the reports.

Cause

The discounts reports run off the discount data, not the products. If a discount has been setup for a product then it will be included in the report, no matter what the status of the product is.

Workaround

If you need to deactivate a product, first remove any discounts for the product. Once this is done you can deactivate the product. Products with no discounts don't appear on the discount reports.

Solatech has confirmed this to be a problem with the Solatech Window Covering Software. As more information becomes available this article will be updated.
