How do the 'show' filters work when generating inventory order requests

There are three ways to filter inventory items when selecting those items that you want to order. To change the items that are shown, click the various 'show' menu options under the View menu.

The default view is to 'Show Items to Order'. This will filter the list of inventory items to show only those items that the system has identified as needing to be ordered based on the reorder and current inventory levels. This list can also be changed so that it shows all items, no matter what the current inventory levels are. This can be useful when you need to create an Inventory Order Request for items that the system indicates you have enough of.

Regardless of the whether you are showing all items or only those that need to be ordered, by default the system will filter out those items that are already on order. If you need to generate an Inventory Order Request for items that are already on order, check the 'Include Items on Order' menu option. Creating multiple requests for the same inventory item is acceptable - each request will be handled individually - they will not be combined.
