How to disable the elevated user check when upgrading companies

Summary

This article explains how to skip the check for elevated user privileges when attempting to upgrade a SWCS company.

More Information

In order to upgrade a SWCS company when running on Windows Vista or Windows 7, the Solatech Window Covering Software will attempt to make sure that the user is running at an elevated user level (i.e., 'Run as Administrator'). If for some reason the user is running elevated but SWCS does not recognize this the upgrade will not proceed. This check can be disabled so that the upgrade will proceed no matter how the software is running.
