How to setup a Leica Disto D810 to work with Solatech
This article explains how to setup a Disto D810 laser to send
measurements into Solatech. This article assumes that the user already
has Laser Measure Quick Entry setup in the Solatech Window Covering
Software. Please contact Solatech Support if laser measuring has not
been set up.
Instructions
- Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on your computer and select Add a Bluetooth Device
- When the Leica Disto is found, click on the Pair button.
- When the pairing is complete, you will hear a beep, indicating that the laser is now connected
- In the Solatech Window Covering Software, place your cursor in the width field (either in Order Entry or in Laser Measure Quick Entry)
- On the laser, enter Disto mode and take a measurement
- To send the measurement, press the Bluetooth arrow shown on the laser display
- The cursor will advance to the height field
Note: If you were using Lecia Disto Transfer to send measurements into Solatech, you will need to disable that feature in your Solatech software. Open up Laser Measure Quick Entry from within a quote or order. Click on Options in the lower right hand corner of the window, and select Other Settings. On the General tab, remove the check mark to the left of Use the Disto Transfer software to communicate with the Disto. Click OK .
Note:
The Disto D810 will automatically connect to your computer when turned
on, unless Bluetooth has been disabled on the PC . For additional
information on working with the Leica Disto D810, please refer to the User's Manual.
