How to view the product pricing breakdown and vendor discounts on a line item
Summary
Users of Solatech Focus can easily view price breakdowns on line items in their system. Users can also view the percentage of discount which has been applied to a line item. The percentage shown is based on the multipliers from your vendors (example: .3 multiplier = 70% discount) . This knowledge base article describes how a user can locate and view this information.
Note: Only users with the security permission to view cost will be able to view the price breakdown and the vendor discount amounts.
Where to View
- On the Order Entry screen, expand the More section
- The Vendor Discount percentage will be shown
- To show the price breakdown, click the hyperlink Show price breakdown (found to the right of MSRP)
- The price of the item and all additional surcharge items will be displayed
Note: This information can also be viewed on the Quote or Sales review pages by using the Edit Price button.
