No mapped drives detected

No mapped drives detected

Summary

Solatech Diagnostics has detected that the Solatech Window Covering Software is installed on a workstation operating system however no mapped drives could be found on this computer.

If this computer is a stand-alone computer, not used in a network, then you can ignore this test.

More Information

When the Solatech Window Covering Software is running in a client/server environment, the workstations access the data files on the server via mapped drives. In this configuration, with no mapped drives, the software will not function.

Possible Causes and Resolutions

  1. This computer is not running in a networked environment. In this case this test can be ignored.
  2. This computer has not yet been mapped to the server. In this case you can ignore this test until the software has been setup to work with the data on the server.
  3. The drives were mapped but have been disconnected. On some Windows operating systems this can happen during startup if the server cannot be reached when the user logs on to the computer. Remap the drives and run the test again.
