Run-time error 9 with vbalExpBar6

Symptoms

When you run the Solatech Window Covering Software you receive the following error message:

Run-time error 9

Note: The title of the error message is vbalExpBar6.

Cause

This is caused by the color depth of the display adapter being less that 16 bit color depth. For example 256 or 16 colors.

Resolution

Switch the display settings on Windows to use medium quality (16-bit) or high quality (32-bit) colors.
