How to Submit and Process Change Requests

Occasionally, a study may be in need of revision. A reviewer might submit a Change Request detailing the issues which need to be resolved. Here’s how to open a Change Request:

1. In the Studies menu, click on the study you want and then press [Edit].

2. Press [Change Requests], located in the toolbar at the bottom of the menu.

3. Press [Add] to add a new request.

4. Once you’ve opened the Change Requests Info window, write a brief description of the request in the Subject field. You can then describe which changes need to be made in the Message section. Below this in the Attachments section, you can attach a file or link to a file or folder on your computer. Once the file has been attached, you have the option to Remove it, View it, or Save As a separate file. Once you’ve filled out all the information in this window, press [OK] to continue.

5. In the Message window, choose which users to send the change request to. You can make changes to any of the information you filled out in the previous window if necessary. Press [OK] to close the window and send the request.

The request will be sent to the user’s inbox under Messages in the main menu. It can be viewed by clicking on the message and pressing the [View] button.

6. Back in the Change Requests window, you can view the request you made. The paper clip symbol indicates that it contains an attachment. You can view a request’s details by clicking on it and pressing [Details]. Once a request has been completed, you can press [Mark As Processed].
