Changing the Base Image of a Visualization in Data Mapper

Step-by-step guide

Open Data Mapper and log in (if prompted)



Right-click on existing image file listed in the “Grids/Base Images” window in the left pane


Select “Edit”


Select desired base image file from the “Base Image Type” drop-down menu

Default: This will result in the default image being displayed as the visualization’s base image



Select the desired default image from the “Default Image” drop-down menu


Downloaded Map
: This will result in the previously downloaded MapQuest map being displayed as the visualization’s base image


Select desired display options in the “Map Options” box

Local Image: Select “Browse” in the Image Menu box and navigate to the locally stored image you wish to use as your visualization’s base image

Click “OK”

Save
