Audio skips or stutters during playback

Audio skips or stutters during playback

When audio playback skips or stutters this is generally symptomatic of an under powered machine.
Here is what I'd like you to do.

1. Reboot the machine.
2. Open task manager and write down the memory and CPU utilization
3. Open SS - now right down this information again.
4. Now open a song ans start in playing in SS. Record the CPU and memory utilization % again.

If your memory or CPU utilization spike significantly when play the file, it is likely that you have
uncovered the problem.   If you'd like more assistance please complete a Help Desk ticket

The other item that should be tried AFTER doing the above is this.

Go to the lower left hand side of the SS interface.  Place your mouse over top the P/ T toggle.
Right click.   You will see that the algorithms are set to "Best".   Select the lowest setting
which is "Preview".   And then try playing again and see if the audio plays correctly.
