ARTICLE: Loading Staff Data Manually

We are able to automatically pull in data from most major Student Information Systems. Please contact us for details.

Download the Data Template

  1. Navigate to Data Management > Export Data .
  2. Click Download Staff Data Importer Template File near the bottom.



Data Entry

Do not change any of the headings in the .csv file. It will cause the data load to fail.

STAFF PK
If you are using an external database, you can enter the staff's primary key here for easier mapping. If you are not using a database, you MUST assign a unique identifier to your staff here.

FIRST NAME
Enter the staff member's first name as it should appear in the portal.
C
LAST NAME
Enter the staff member's last name as it should appear in the portal.
D
TYPE
Enter the Infinity role that the staff member should have.  Refer to System Management > Infinity for the list of roles that are available in your portal.

ADDRESS 1
Enter the first line of the staff member's home address.
F
ADDRESS 2
Enter the second line of the staff member's home address.
G
SUBURB
Enter the town or suburb of the staff member's home address.
H
STATE
Enter the state or province of the staff member's home address.
I
POSTCODE/ZIP
Enter the postcode or zip code of the staff member's home address.
J
COUNTRY
Enter the country of the staff member's home address.
K
HOME PHONE
Enter the staff member's home phone number.
L
WORK PHONE
Enter the staff member's work phone number.              
M
MOBILE/CELL
Enter the staff member's mobile phone number.

EMAIL
Enter the staff member's email address.

USERNAME
Enter the username that the staff member will use to log into the portal.                            
P
PASSWORD
Enter the password that the staff member will use to log into the portal. You can leave this field blank and send a Welcome Wizard Email to allow the staff member to set their password themselves.

GROUPS MANAGED
List the groups that the staff member should be responsible for.  Separate the list with commas. Refer to System Management > Groups for the list of groups that are available in your portal.
R
CONTACT FLAGS
List the contact flags that the staff member should be responsible for.  Separate the list with commas.  Refer to System Management > Contact Flags for the list of contact flags that are available in your portal.
S
PIN
Enter the PIN number that the staff member will use when performing SISO actions for students. If you do not require a staff PIN when performing SISO actions, you can safely leave this field blank.

Uploading Data

Do NOT send sensitive data to us via email

You can upload your data to your REACH portal in one of two ways:
  1. Upload your spreadsheet at securedrop.reach.cloud and we will load your data for you.
  2. You can also upload your data yourself by navigating to Data Management > Import Data and follow the on-screen instructions.
