            People Management - Associations


            Associations play a critical role in the REACH system because they determine with who boarders are permitted to go on leave with.

            Creating an association is a simple 3 step process once you clink on the new association button.
                           1. Select the person from the drop down menu.
                           2.  Select the association type
                           3.  Set whether the associate should get notifications.
            A leave request can only be created with people who are associated with a border.  If a parent has added a new host and they have not associated that host with the boarder then leave cannot be created with that host.
