Setting Leave Cut-Off Times
You can set Cut-Off times for your Leave Type that help you to manage when students can apply for the leave.
Soft or Hard Cut-Offs
Cut-Offs can be Soft or Hard. Both settings will provide a custom message at the time of submission.
A SOFT Cut-Off will allow the leave to still be submitted if the cut-off time is passed.
A HARD Cut-Off will not allow the leave to be submitted if the cut-off time is passed.
Cut offs work in one of three ways.
(i) You can set a regular open weekly window in which leave requests can be submitted (eg: opens Monday 06.00 and closes Thursday 16:00)
(ii) You can set a static date after which a leave request cannot be submitted (eg: all holiday requests must be submitted by xxxxx)
(iii) You can set a static date after which a leave departure time cannot occur (eg: only leave with departure time up to xxxxx date can be submitted)
Cut-Offs are set in the configuration of each Leave Type.
