Water Is Not Working (DO Model)

Water Is Not Working (DO Model)

Confirmed Issue:
Cannot get water to turn on and run.

Affected Units:

Any DO Model van with hot or cold water.

Issue Explanation:

Water can stop working for one of a couple reasons. This includes valves being closed, pump malfunctions,
or a pressure leak.

Resolution:

1. Turn your inverter on.
2. Check circuit breakers to make sure all have green lights and are not flipped.
3. Plug an extension cord into the wall outlet of your choice and run to your hot or cold water box.

4. Make sure the green jerry can is full of water for cold or hot water. Make sure the black vent plug is open on the jerry can.
5. Remove the blue clips on either side of the black jerry can cap. Push the water lines into one another until fully seated. Put blue clips back on. Secure lid on jerry can.

6. Remove the blue clip where the intake line meets the water pump. For the cold water, this will be on the orange water pump on the underside of the box. For the hot water, there will be two clips. One on the top and bottom of the black ABS panel. Hot water will have a third blue clip connecting to the pump. Make sure these lines are fully seated and put the clips back on.

7. If using the kitchen out line on cold water, open the faucet valve. It should be parallel. Hose side has no valve. For hot water, if you are using the kitchen, make sure the outgoing faucet valves are open. These should be parallel with brass fittings. For the spray hose, make sure the faucet knobs are open. They should be turned to the left all the way.

8. Locate the GFCI outlet switch. There should be a green light in the bottom corner to indicate it is powered. Turn the water pump on by flipping the switch.

9. If water still does not work, please reach out to the Vandoit Support team by submitting a ticket or emailing support@vandoit.com. Elaborate in as much detail as possible as to what is occurring. Please email pictures of your inverter screen with inverter turned on, breaker panel, picture of GFCI outlet on water box, vent plug open on jerry can, and valves open. If possible, attaching a video of walking through the steps and showing how the water system is operating when requesting water can be extremely helpful as well.
